Website demonstrations and the eventual physical product are separate: this notice does not claim that all future in-home processing is already implemented.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:

Order receipts, sign-in links, product-change notices and requested support are operational communications, separate from optional promotional emails. Wishlist updates may be emailed to authorized SMERT staff so they can assess your requests.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on:
- Consent: When you provide explicit consent for specific purposes

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. International Data Transfers
Website, payment, email and AI providers may process data outside your country, including in Hong Kong or the United States. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism, appropriate safeguards must apply, such as contractual protections or an applicable adequacy decision. Contact us for details of providers and safeguards relevant to your service. EU-region or on-premise product deployments require a separately confirmed configuration and, where appropriate, a data-processing agreement; do not assume website demo data stays on your device or within the EU.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, secure servers, and access controls.
8. Data Retention
Reservation, transaction and refund records are kept while needed to administer your order and meet applicable accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute obligations. Account and wishlist records are kept while needed for your account and requested support; ask us to remove unnecessary notes. Conversation records are kept only while needed for follow-up, service or security purposes, subject to the provider's applicable retention arrangements. Marketing records are kept while consent remains relevant, with limited suppression and consent evidence retained where needed to honor opt-outs and meet legal obligations. No universal automatic deletion period is promised. Contact us for the retention applicable to your records; we delete or anonymize data when no longer needed, subject to lawful exceptions.
